Fox News on Channel 38 has been restored!
We are delighted to announce that we were able to restore Fox News today to our customers in Wells, Speculator, and Lake Pleasant.
Reflecting on the well-known saying, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression” has been a particularly painful exercise in these early stages of our acquisition of the former Hamilton County cable system. The almost immediate loss of Fox News and the related technical problems have been a significant challenge for us – and a meaningful test for our customers as well.
We can assure you, there was no conspiracy. We just had quite a bit of old fashioned fixin’ up to do. We are grateful that the overwhelming majority of you have welcomed us to your community and have formed your first impression of us based on the hard work of our technicians who have been active since day one, the courtesy and helpfulness of our local customer service team and our willingness to tackle a difficult situation and to stick with it.
We remain committed to further stabilizing the system (including channel 17) and finding ways to bring state of the art services to your communities in the future. As a North Country company, we know well that Mother Nature will also win her share of battles. Rest assured that our veteran team will do everything possible to provide value – even in the toughest conditions.
